Michelle Forge is the owner of Harmony Minds and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Central Missouri (2019). Her studies focused on vocal pedagogy, choral conducting, and music education under Dr. Stella Roden and Dr. Adam Zrust. With a strong background in music theatre, Michelle is especially passionate about helping singers develop healthy technique, expressive storytelling, and confidence on and off the stage.
 

Michelle began teaching piano and voice in 2016 and later served as a K–4 elementary music educator in the Sedalia Public School District, where she was named Teacher of the Quarter in 2020. Her teaching philosophy centers on mentorship, encouragement, and individualized instruction—meeting students where they are while helping them grow as musicians and people.
 

A lifelong performer and music educator, Michelle remains active in organizations such as MMEA, NAfME, MSTA, NFMC, and Sigma Alpha Iota. She has successfully coached students through state and national competitions, earning top ratings and thoughtful adjudicator feedback.
 

When she’s not teaching, Michelle performs with her local community theatre and enjoys time with her family. She loves gardening, baking, yoga, running, reading, and—of course—making music. Her son Cooper, fiancé Jack, and their two dogs inspire her daily to create a joyful, supportive studio environment where every student feels valued and encouraged.
